Partners in music for over 12 years, Berlin based duo Clé and Mike Vamp are the inimitable Märtini Brös. They released 3 full length albums and countless singles with a rich, playful and catchy electronic sound that helped define a movement for a generation of more refined club-goers. Now the Brös are back with their fourth longplayer; a majestic, dextrous voyage through the many styles and zones the pair share a passion for. 'Moved By Mountains' is a fully-fledged achievement in both sound and songwriting.

Settling in to the peaceful and positive vibes of 'Overture', the album gets underway with the amazing textures of 'Jericho' - a sentimental slow jam which sets the tone for the warm electronica elements found throughout the album.

Quickly flipping the switch with the modern pop of 'Stay Amazing' feat. Manye Thompson's distinctive vocal message, a veritable treat lies in store with addictive, post-modern songs like 'Jolly Good Time', 'Why' feat. Louie Austen, or the spine-tingling 'The Door'. The smokey tones of Eric D. Clark are spread thickly over 'Physics', once again carrying a unique message; synth pop moments flow with 'Gang Of Two', full of uplifting, positive moments, while the more experimental electronics of 'Beautiful Children Of Mumu' or 'Little Nemo' highlight the duo's skills behind their collection of analog gear.
The astounding work draws to a close with the simply epic 'Yellow' and 'End Of The Year' which really brings out Clé's singing voice - which features on many of the album's songs. Over 14 songs, casually and expertly merging production skill and seasoned ears with beautiful melodic passages, guest instrumentation and choice vocalists, 'Moved By Mountains' is surely their greatest achievement to date.

Thereby Märtini Brös were always a spearhead. Without reservations to pop both Berliners are one of the most entertaining House live Acts and one of the most many-sided producers of the scene. Mike Vamp and DJ Clé are innovative as expertly. Mike Vamp published his first album in 1986, at the beginning the 90th he worked as a guitarist with the Spacecowboys where he also got to know DJ Clé.

In 1998 Märtini Brös began first as a DJ team and played live for for the first time the film premiere of "Lola Rennt" on Popkomm. The first single appeared on the Raw Element label of Steve Bug, the debut album follwed in summer 2002 on Poker Flat. Märtini Brös were touring live around the whole planet, did two more albums, Remixe and other studio work in all possible genres in Electronica, Dance, Down-and Upbeat.

In 2010 the new even more open minded sound range also was the reason to search a new homebase for Märtini Brös. As a result it's just consequential that the new album found it´s way to Mole Listening Pearls.

DJ Clé said the following to this change: "After years of working together as Märtini Brös, in 2008, Mike and I decided to hold back for a while and go on a quest to search for the essence of our very existence; searching for whatever drives us, inspires us, to look for the original formula that used to make us want to be Märtini Brös in the first place: we called it AMBROESIA. After we managed to open the door to this secret place, we wandered the valleys, crossed the rivers and climbed the mountains of this yet mostly unexplored world, faced countless adventures, experienced colourful landscapes and gathered together with the most fascinating characters. We sang with the beautiful children of Mumu, had a jolly good time in a yellow jazz joint, got hammered (several times), were introduced to the upside downs of physics, helped to bring all colors home and met the most amazing little boy named Nemo… but by the end of the year we still hadn´t found AMBROESIA, the elixir, the grail, the juice. Our guess: it doesn't exist, after all. ... But there was enough inspiration on the way for us to get back in our studio and write "Moved By Mountains". You might want to see it as a diary of this journey, the story of a two-man gang, conquering an unknown world, searching for something, that doesn´t exist... and in the process, finding so much more."
